Find out how to request and arrange an accessibility audit for your DfE product or service.

Before you request an audit, make sure you plan what to test, gather the information the auditors need and review common accessibility issues.

Request an accessibility audit

The process is the same whether your product or service is for internal or external users.

Submit an audit request to DesignOps.

The DesignOps team aims to respond to requests within 5 working days.

They can help you:

  • understand what type of audit you need
  • plan your audit timeline
  • prepare the right information for auditors
  • find the right audit provider

How to procure an accessibility audit

Once you've spoken to DesignOps and agreed what type of audit you need, you can arrange it with Zoonou, DfE's accessibility audit supplier.

Email the contract manager for Zoonou, Mitchell Jones, at mitchell.jones@education.gov.uk.

Alternatively, you can use the three or more quotes process (opens DfE intranet in new tab) (link opens in new tab).

Contact DesignOps even if you use the three or more quotes process. They can help you choose the right type of audit.
